Two Stories is a global platform that reinterprets traditional crafts through contemporary design. Built on the belief that heritage deserves relevance, the brand turns time-honored techniques into usable art connecting the past and present to create a shared, modern narrative of craft.
The challenge was to create a name, identity, and web experience that could hold many stories at once. The system had to feel both premium and human, capable of presenting a mosaic of artists, cultures, and products without reducing them to sameness. We were asked to:
• Name the brand and define its belief system.
• Build a visual identity that celebrates diversity through coherence, not uniformity.
• Design a web platform that invites collaboration and onboarding for artists worldwide.
Our concept revolved around time and space—how craft carries memory and evolves through exchange. The wordmark balances this duality: a subtle Devanagari hint in the “R” grounds it in Indian roots, while Latin letterforms open it to the world. The symbol, a revolving form derived from the number “2,” captures movement and transformation.
Paired with a tactile palette and evolving graphic system, the identity reflects Two Stories’ vision: a meeting point of tradition and modernity, where local artistry finds a global stage.
